Abstract

|
Hemangioma of the gastrointestinal tract is a rare disease. A case of solitary sessile polypoid cavernous hemangioma of sigmoid colon was found in a 7 year old female, and has been reported. The patient was improved after segmental resection and promary anastomosis of the sigmoid colon.
A literature review was made on this subject.
